Celebrating International Customer Service Week

Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies Canada celebrated our customer service department during the International Customer Service Week Oct 3 -7, 2011. Annually, this week is devoted to recognizing the importance of customer service and honoring the people who work on the frontlines and those who support them.
Refresh, Recharge and Reconnect were the key words for International Customer Service Week and were reinforced during the week through team building events, a food drive donation/fundraising contest, and award presentations.
The Customer Services team has worked on a number of continuous improvement projects aimed at improving our customer’s experience. A few of them are:
- Enhanced system capabilities to provide pricing and lead-time information in a more timely and accurate manner.
- Expanded capacity and capability in technical services
- Improved responsiveness to inbound email by i) formally acknowledging receipt and ii) directing emails to a central queue iii) creating a new technical services email address Canada_techservices@irco.com
- Automation to consistently and accurately assign order lead-times based on a customer and product’s profile.
The Customer Service Representative of the Year Award was presented to Anisa Lapierre, and the Sales Representative of the Year Award was presented to Trevor Dion.
